1. Educational tool, not certification

HearWriteEnglish is a free practice tool for personal study. It is not a certified language course, official CEFR assessment, or substitute for a qualified teacher.

2. Audio playback

Sentence audio is generated using your browser's built-in speech synthesis. Voice availability and quality vary by browser and device and are outside our control.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use HearWriteEnglish in a way that disrupts the service, attempts automated large-scale scraping, or violates applicable law.

4. HearWriteEnglish Pro early access

HearWriteEnglish Pro is an early-access paid membership. Some Pro features described on the Pro page are still in development and may be released progressively. The current free A1–C2 practice remains available separately. Feature plans and release timing may change as the product develops.

5. Subscription billing and cancellation

Founding 100 offer. The first 100 eligible members who subscribe through the Founding 100 checkout may keep the €1.50 monthly founding price for as long as that subscription remains continuously active. If a founding subscription is cancelled and the person later rejoins, the price available at the time of rejoining will apply. The Founding 100 offer may be closed once 100 memberships have been taken.

Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe at the price and billing interval shown at checkout. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time by contacting us through the contact page; cancellation will stop future renewals. Access for a paid billing period may continue until that period ends. Payment and refund requests are handled in accordance with applicable law, and nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights you may have.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. HearWriteEnglish does not receive your full card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy practices also apply to information you provide during checkout.

7. Advertising

Free areas of HearWriteEnglish may be supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are not endorsements by HearWriteEnglish.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
