Do I need Pro to practise?
No. HearWrite Free remains genuinely useful, including 3,600 exercises, US/UK pronunciation, correction, Listening Check and basic review. Pro is for people who want personalization, diagnosis and progress tracking.
When does my Dashboard become useful?
Some metrics begin after only a few exercises, but the diagnosis becomes more reliable as HearWrite collects repeated evidence. We deliberately avoid pretending one exercise can define your listening level.
What does “first-listen score” mean?
It measures accuracy on exercises you submit without replaying the audio. It helps separate eventually getting the answer from understanding speech in real time.
Are the 400 Pro exercises different from the free library?
Yes. The Pro library contains 400 additional unique exercises distributed across A1–C2 and the listening patterns HearWrite tracks.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel your recurring monthly subscription at any time.
What happens after payment?
Your Stripe payment is connected to the HearWrite account you signed in with. Once Pro is activated, you are taken to your personal Dashboard.
